Funds accounting – Intern
The Funds Accounting team is part of the Finance Vice Presidency and is responsible for the Bank’s Donor Funds accounting policy, accounting records, and the production of financial reporting such as the annual financial reports. The team’s responsibilities encompass all of the Bank’s Donor Fund transactions, and many of the Bank’s core systems that relate to Donor Funds.
The Funds accounting Intern will work as part of the team responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and external counterparties such as donors. The focus of this seven to eight month placement will be on assisting the team with the production of annual financial reports for donors, and engaging with the Funds’ external auditors throughout the audit process. The intern will work with core systems such as the SAP general ledger and the Summit front office system to extract financial data, will utilize Excel and other tools to validate and curate this data, and summarize this data for reporting purposes in PowerPoint and Word.
