Senior Business Analyst – Software/Systems – Fully Remote (U.K Only) – Up to £50k DOE + Excellent Benefits

Are you a software focused Business Analyst who has experience working on internal systems and in-house software development teams?

We are currently have a new role within the team and we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has a strong understanding of the full software development life-cycle, can define processes, work with business-critical systems and an individual that can mentor junior and mid-level Business Analysts within the team.

Remote Working:

This role would be able to take advantage of fully remote working, or a combination of remote and office working depending on your preferences and distance from our main development office (Osberton, Nottinghamshire – S81). We’d like to see you face to face from time to time. How frequent that is will depend on your location, but we envisage it being at least once a quarter and at most once a month (but can be more frequent if you prefer)

This is where you come in:

Europa is continuing to invest heavily in bespoke IT solutions to continually improve efficiencies and communication. As a key member of one of our software development teams you will foster close relationships with business stakeholders, eliciting requirements and formulating user stories. You’ll also work closely with our Software Developers, Testers and Business Analyst’s forming part of a successful Agile team.

In this role, you will:

• Foster and maintain close working relationships with business stakeholders, translating requirements into quality user stories
• Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are gathered and presented in a readable way
• Produce UI mock-ups for consumption by both the Business and the Development Team
• Assist with the production of any associated documentation
• Work closely with the Development Manager, helping to refine and order the product backlog
• Facilitate software demos
• Work closely with the Software Testers to provide quality software that meets the business needs, and be prepared to assist with testing when required
