Eurofins Finance Team is responsible for accounting functions of 25 Eurofins companies across Australia and New Zealand

Job Description

As the successful candidate, you will be experienced in end-to-end AP within a fast paced environment. You will be a team player and have thorough accuracy skills both alphabetical and numerical.

Reporting to the Transactions and Systems Manager, the role will focus on:

• 3-way matching of supplier invoices with purchase order and delivery dockets
• Review invoices processed by Business Processing Team
• Process staff expenses claims and intercompany invoices
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment run and process electronic payments
• Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis
• Review of GRNI, pending invoices on a monthly basis
• Liaise with a range of internal customers and external suppliers on daily basis to sort out any discrepancies and queries
• Assist accountant to estimate the month end accruals
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Ad hoc projects and tasks as required

Qualifications

As an important role within Eurofins Finance Team, the following selection criteria are essential for success:

• 2 to 3 years’ commercial experience in similar position in a mid-sized organization
• Experience in dealing with suppliers in AU and NZ
• Strong experience with mainstream ERP systems and other software packages (MYOB Advanced and Coupa experience would be a plus)
• Proven sound communication and interpersonal skills to develop healthy and effective working relationships
• Proven experience in providing a responsive and timely service to internal and external customers and vendors
• Efficient with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Highly organised and with an ability to plan and prioritise
• Ability to work in a team, displaying a positive attitude whilst under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a high performing team
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, Intermediate Excel Skills
