Additionally, the division enjoys good support from a range of SME banking franchises in the UK and overseas, and we see development potential for the product within that space.

Finally, the division has strategic customers with solid relationships who use the bank’s eCommerce (trading and payments) suite of functionality. We feel there is very good scope to grow the business in eCommerce.

With three distinct areas, a renewed management and a roadmap to cloud and lightweight product delivery, we are looking for graduates who can help shape the function within a small agile team, work collaboratively and help build strong client impressions of the EB delivery function.

Position:

We are We are looking for Graduate Software Developers to support our projected growth

You will be reporting to the Head of Engineering, Banking and working alongside senior, mid-level, and junior engineers, Business Analysts and Product delivery teams on banking software solutions. You will ensure that you contribute in line with our company values and key objectives for the business.

It is essential that applicants can demonstrate the ability to take the initiative and to have a growth mindset both provide and receive a constructive challenge so that we continue to build based on an agreed vision and commitment to growth and quality.

The right individual will need to be able to work with an instinctively entrepreneurial team and leadership and build a strong rapport with new and existing customers as well as with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

The following are key responsibilities of the role:

• To learn how to write readable, well commented and adequately formatted code. Understanding independently and actively pushing the bounds of own knowledge.
• To become familiar with the importance of coding standards and best practice
• To become familiar with using git, branching, source control, build and release pipelines
• Proactively contributes to unit testing/JUnits
• To undertake any other duties within your skills confidence to support the attainment of Eurobase’s Mission, Vision and Values
• Responsible for positively contributing to a safe work environment, ensure compliance with H&S, GDPR, Quality Management and other key compliance

Requirements:

Essential Knowledge/Qualifications

Fundamental understanding of Cloud technologies and development

Basic knowledge of JAVA, Hibernate, Spring and Ms SQL

Desirable Knowledge/Qualifications

Some knowledge of JavaScript, Angular and Typescript

Relevant Experience

Able to write basic SQL scripts
