Euro Garages Hiring for Accounts Assistant – French Speaking Job at Blackburn, England Full Time

Salary: £24,000 – £25,000

What will my role look like?

Our EG Finance team is expanding and we have an opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant! This is a new role within the department which requires a bilingual French Speaking accountant who has a good understanding & experience of an accounts payable / purchase ledger role.

In this role you will be hands on in supporting the Accounts Payable Team with the backlog of accounting tasks – you will collect, analyse and action missing invoices by collecting the supplier’s statements.

You will request missing invoices, credit notes and any other miscellaneous finance documents in order to support the department in updating our financial records. We will provide full training and will also train you on our new system that we are implementing.

We are looking to speak to motivated candidates who have a can do attitude. If you have previous accounts / purchase leger experience and want to excel your career within finance within a successful business, then this role will be ideal for you!

What would my main responsibilities be?

Collect, analyse and action missing financial invoices & documentation

Chase in outstanding information, calling suppliers and providing deadlines for completion

Receive and record outstanding invoices from suppliers

Process the outstanding invoices and attach that information to the relative project or department for job costing and financial statement purposes

Match and file invoices with their matching receipts

Learn and perform tasks on our new system

Do I have what it takes?

Fluent French Speaker

Previous experience within an accounts payable / purchase ledger role

Finance qualification / degree / AAT

Previous finance / purchase leger experience / knowledge
