Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Boat Operator to join our Wasilla, AK office.

eTrac, Inc. performs surveys for private and public agencies throughout the United States with offices in California, Washington, Alaska and Texas. Candidates should expect approximately 100 days of travel throughout each year.

Responsibilities:

• Operate boats (20 – 70 ft. in length), as required. Primary responsibilities include operating survey vessels along Alaskan coasts and waterways carrying crews and equipment.
• Maintain vessel float plans and operational logs.
• Perform crew member responsibilities on board vessel in support of projects.
• Monitor the vessel’s status and any maintenance requirements as appropriate.

Other duties as required, e.g., perform routine maintenance and repairs on vessels and other equipment. Assist hydrographic survey personnel as needed.
