The successful candidate will support the wider HR team the primary objective of this role is to provide a high quality and comprehensive HR support service for the business. This will include undertaking recruitment activities as well as providing accurate advice to staff and managers on a wide range of HR policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone that enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment, whilst using their initiative to see processes through to completion and ensuring accuracy in everything delivered. This HR Officer role sits within a close-knit team where development and progression are valued.
Description
Provide advice on policies and procedures
Support the management on first level disciplinary and grievance issues
Lead on allocated recruitment campaigns, placing adverts, liaising with agencies, screening applicants, arranging and undertaking interviews, and undertaking pre-employment checks.
Administer employee reward schemes.
Assist with the preparation of the Training Review Panel meeting including collating training applications, booking training, sending diary invites, sending evaluation forms and, analysing data.
New starter onboarding.
Assist with the monthly payroll processing and integration
Undertake workshops on various HR topics.
Complete monthly statistics and KPI’s
Profile
Hold Degree, HND or professional qualification
CIPD Level 3
HR Generalist experience preferably gained in a similar role within a relevant industrial environment
Strong organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines
Sound knowledge of current employment legislation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and respond to the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong proficiency in the use of MS Office & HR Systems
