EtiKID Academy Hiring for Online Instructor Job at Remote Full Time

EtiKID Academy is looking for a temporary teacher to facilitate online classes for the Illinois State Board of Education. This class will count as a student elective and will be focused on character, career, and life skills.

Format: Classes – Zoom; Google Classroom

Students: Illinois residents, 9-12 grade

Language: 100% English

Curriculum: Elective – Character, Career, and Life Skills

Teaching Materials: Will be provided

Responsibilities:

• Aiding in the creation of course content and material.

• Facilitating classes for this course via video recording.

This remote position is a 2 (6 week) semester contract.

Who we are: EtiKID Academy is a Black woman-owned business. We provide K-12 and Higher Education audiences with transformative experiential learning via Character and Career Etiquette services.

Who you are:

• A licensed teacher who has the ability to teach in the state of Illinois (with a current Illinois State teaching license)

• A professional with experience in administration and course facilitation

• Someone with an intermediate level of experience with curriculum design (i.e. syllabus, course requirements, rubrics, etc.)

• Someone who has a background in character building, career development, and/or general life skills

• Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Someone with exceptional attention to detail

• Proficient in technology, specifically with Google classroom and Google Suite
