EthosEnergy are looking to add an HR Specialist – Talent Acquisition to our Recruiting team in Aberdeen, UK. The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting our pending and approved vacancies at all levels and disciplines. Working closely with the Human Resources teams across the East and West Hemispheres, the Talent Management Team and the wider business; will hold responsibility for advertising, searching and sourcing excellent talent for our business, with a focus given to direct sourcing methods. Most importantly, ensuring the candidate and hiring manager experience and service received is exceptional and exceeds expectations.

• Establish strong working relationships with internal customers, providing regular updates on resourcing progress in their area of responsibility.
• Develop a strong understanding of business needs and respond to requests for resourcing support.
• Ensure that our customers understand the recruitment process and provide guidance and support throughout.
• Verify, probe and challenge content of job and person specifications for assigned vacancies to ensure accuracy.
• Transform content of job descriptions into compelling advertisements tailored to the advertising medium, making use of keywords to ensure they appear in appropriate searches. Ensure job advertisements accurately reflect business needs, company values and initiatives, and legal requirements
• Advise customers on employment models, salary/rate information, market data and costs associated with the recruitment process
• Provide advice on appropriate candidate sources and attraction media to attract both internal and external applicants. Undertake complex searches on a variety of media.
• Ensure all applicants have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process, regardless of the outcome of their application
• Interpret candidate experience against job requisition, and interrogate and verify candidate experience to produce prequalified shortlists.
• Ensuring high quality experience and communication to both candidates and Hiring Managers throughout the selection process.
• Proactively create pipelines of talent to meet future needs.
• Responsible for ensuring candidate and vacancy data is correct and up to date and accurate.

• Understanding of employment legislation as it relates to recruitment and selection in their region.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise workload along with excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Capable of adapting personal style and tone at all levels within the Company is essential.
• High levels of self-awareness, attention to detail and personal integrity.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Candidate must be a Self-Starter and have accountability for own actions.
• Strong IT skills, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong foundational knowledge of HR practices from an educational background or some demonstrable experience in HR / Recruitment.
• Some experience in a large multi-national organisation and/or in-house recruitment capacity would be preferred.
• Experience could include CV screening, interviewing, candidate management and customer service but is not essential.

• A recent Graduate in Human Resources Management or another suitable discipline and/or demonstrated entry level experience in Talent Acquisition.
