Plant Process Engineer (2 positions avail Mid-Level and Senior Role DOE)

Description:

This opportunity is with a medium-sized specialty chemical manufacturing facility located south of downtown Chicago.

This facility has recently completed upgrades to their facility and they’re looking for someone who is eager to get involved with their Operations team and be hands-on.

This role will afford someone the opportunity to make impacts in a variety of ways including doing process optimization and improvement work as well as on the capital projects front. This site uses mixers, blenders, vessels, tanks, and reactors in batch manufacturing their products.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required
• 6+ years of batch manufacturing experience
• Preferably out of specialty chemical manufacturing
• Pluses would include project work or processes improvements & optimization
• Previous PSM regulated environment highly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
