eTech Partners Hiring for Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant – Banking at London Full Time

We are working with a Boutique Investment bank based in the City who are looking for a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant to assist the FD.

The Finance Assistant Accounts Assistant will work closely with the FD.

Responsibilities

• Process AP transactions and expenses on to QuickBooks and ensuring all supplier invoices are paid.
• Raise sales invoices in a timely manner; credit control to chase receipts when necessary.
• Assist with Gift Aid claims and submit online to HMRC!
• Bank reconciliations and monitor bank accounts and prepare short term cash forecasts.
• Payroll journals and payroll reconciliations, liaising with outsourced payroll.
• Support the FD in the preparation of management accounts.
• Assist budget holders with financial information as required.
• Assist with preparation of long term cashflow forecasts.
• Support FD in preparing for the annual audit.
• Prepare monthly management accounts for the FD.
• Support the FD to improve systems and processes.
• Ad hoc s or analysis as directed by the FD.

Skills and experience:

• Excellent experience in Excel including pivot tables, graphs, V-lookups and large raw data.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Strong communications skills
