Job Title: Training Specialist
Duration: 12 months
Location: 100% Remote; hybrid optional)

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Designs, develops, evaluates, and prepares the training plan and provides guidance regarding course content, methods and media to be used, training aids, skill levels and attendance. Provides counsel and guidance regarding program development and training design for Caterpillar service training programs

Typical Day:
This position can be fully remote but a hybrid is an option for a local candidate
Participates in the overall planning, designing, and development of job role competencies, curricula, courses, and assessments for a specific subject area using ADDIE methodology.
Assists periodically analyzing existing maps and matrices to make recommendations to fill any gaps.
Participates in curriculum innovation, design, and research, and ensures the development and maintenance of the highest quality learning programs for dealers and marketing personnel.
Provides instructional design input for the use of new learning outputs and technology.
Reviews internally produced content and resources to ensure adherence to development standards and industry best practices.
Reviews externally produced content and work with vendors to produce content.
Perform consultation on industry best practices and customer-proven process solutions.
Hours are flexible

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in instructional design or education which provides competency, curriculum, and course development knowledge. 2-4 years of experience required. Will accept associate’s degree with adequate experience

Technical Skills:
