Job Description
Working with the Lead HR Business Partner to deliver the people aspects of a complex transformation programme. You will provide proactive, generalist support to senior leaders during a period of significant change, balancing the day to day Operational running of our Customer Facing areas alongside key project deliverables. This will include partnering with senior leaders to deliver the people plan, specifically implementing a new Target Operating Model, building their people capability, identifying and retaining talent, engaging and motivating their teams during a period of transition.
What will my role entail?

• Influencing and building relationships with leaders across the organisations, being a visible and proactive presence in the business
• Providing input and support to the delivery of the HR Project plan, change management activities, initiatives and transitions.
• Leading on a variety of initiatives to improve leadership capability and resolve broader business challenges such as improving engagement, I&D initiatives and reducing absence and monitoring turnover in volume areas.
• Working with leaders to embed the annual performance cycle, set objectives, measure results (what & how) and upskill leaders to have regular Facilitating quarterly people check-ins and calibration sessions with senior leaders to drive performance.
• Support the leadership team to identify and develop talent and creating robust attraction and succession plans
• Coach leaders to solve engagement challenges quickly and confidently, educating them on employee engagement best practice, the creation of effective engagement action plans and internal communications initiatives that deliver a lasting change in culture
• Work with leaders to raise awareness of our I&D agenda and to produce functional action plans
• Collate relevant MI to analyse trends and provide valuable insight to Lead HRBPs and leaders
• Proactively work with the HR Centres of Excellence and ER Specialists to present practical solutions to business issues and promote continuous improvement of the employee lifecycle..

Qualifications

• Previous experience of supporting people change activity within a contact centre / customer facing environment. Financial service desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
• HR Generalist experience advising senior management on a wide range of complex HR issues.
• A self starter with the desire to take responsibility for new initiatives, plan and manage change through to completion.
• A track record of building strong relationships with leaders at various levels, identifying and understanding the challenges they face, and providing thoughtful solutions and advice
• A collaborative working approach, working with the wider HR team to lead, shape and deliver solutions to tackle business challenges and drive measurable results
• Ability to coach, challenge and influence leaders to deliver against their people plan
• Demonstrable knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application through best practice across a broad range of initiatives
• Resilient and pragmatic – not afraid to take calculated risks whilst balancing our need to be robust and diligent
• Excellent planning and organising skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting demands.
• Ability to spot opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results
