Estrellita, Inc Hiring for Contract Curriculum Writer-Editor Job at Remote Full Time

We are seeking a Curriculum Writer-Editor to assist in reviewing and editing our existing Early Childhood, Kindergarten and 1st Grade curriculum. Based in Denver, Estrellita provides Beginning Spanish reading curriculum and training for bilingual and dual language education in schools throughout the country.

This is an independent and project focused position that allows the individual to work from their home location with periodic check-in on the progress of the project. If the candidate is local, face-to-face periodic meetings would be preferred, but not required. There are two essential projects that may take 300 – 600 hours potentially with other possible projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Proof read, edit and improve on existing curriculum text.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Prior educational experience including curriculum development.
• Native Spanish speaker.
• Prior experience developing curriculum that meets National and State literacy standards preferred.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Master Degree in Education preferred.
