It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for police, fire, ambulance and VICSES and manages the provision of advanced, operational communications for police, ambulance, fire services and the SES. About the role

ESTA’s Talent team is growing and we have an exciting opportunity for a Talent & Diversity Advisor to lead the strategic sourcing of talent to support ESTA’s goals in capability, wellbeing and belonging. This role is primarily responsible for supporting managers with end-to end recruitment at our Ballarat Communications Centre and developing innovative processes and solutions to attract and select the best people to join ESTA.

The challenge and variety of this role will come from

• Providing strategic sourcing services for roles at ESTA including the development of innovative attraction strategies
• Facilitating recruitment campaigns for triple-zero call-takers
• Monitoring and tracking selection success as evidenced by early attrition statistics
• Drive contemporary enhancements to ESTA’s recruitment approach and supporting processes
• Create exceptional candidate experiences throughout the recruitment processes
• Lead job analysis processes – working with managers to develop accurate position descriptions which define success and integrate ESTA’s capability framework.
• Develop innovative strategies that improve the representational diversity at ESTA across all levels of the organisation

You will be

• A high achieving experienced recruiter
• Able to demonstrate success in leading innovative attraction campaigns to support the selection of talent
• Experienced using a range of recruitment support tools including job analysis frameworks, capability frameworks and psychometric testing, interpreting and providing advice to people managers on selection decisions
• Customer focused and exceptionally skilled at developing and maintaining positive relationships skills
• Results driven with a high level of initiative and accountability in a busy environment
• Committed to continuous improvement and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and resourceful to keep deliverables on track
