Essentra Hiring for Technical Sales Specialist Full Time

Essentra is immediately hiring an outside sales hunter as our next Technical Sales Specialist for our Access Hardware line of business. As the Technical Sales Specialist for the East region you will grow revenue through consistently conduct meaningful appointments to understand a customer’s business and provide relevant products or solutions that deliver improved results.

Responsibilities

• Representative administration – daily communications, technical support, and action logs.
• Customer support – present proposals, technical support, samples, quotes and complaints.
• Territory support – trips with representatives for training, support, and direction.
• Responsible for ensuring your assigned territory meets strategic and sales targets set by the region.
• Maximize profitability at the account level.
• Provide the proper level of communication to Commercial Manager through monthly ing, emails, phone, etc. as required to manage your territory.
• Conduct proper sales analysis to determine strengths and weaknesses within your territory.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership based on sales analysis for your territory.
• Project management duties as required for sampling, quoting and new product development.
• Quote both custom parts, tooling, and standard parts within acceptable profit margins.
• Evaluate incoming opportunity and quote for feasibility.
• Field commercial and technical questions posed by customers and internal support functions within the Company.
• Develop project plans, coordinate projects, and communicate changes and progress.
• Participate in weekly meetings as well as cross functional management meetings.
• Manage all customer communication (opportunities, visit s, pipeline) via the Essentra CRM.
• Participate in potential trade shows that fit the product category.

Who we are looking for:

• Must be able to travel as needed; up to 75%
• Must be outgoing and communicate well through all levels of an organization internally and externally
• Previous experience utilizing a CRM to track and deliver on KPI’s and Metrics, Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or other or relevant work experience.
