Responsibilities:
Work with customers and other stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot problems, and design new workflows
Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement effective dashboards for quality assurance as well as software demonstrations
Support the team’s developers with testing, feedback, and sample data
Ensure key workflows perform satisfactorily in complex multi-user environments
Document and share best practices, tips, and tricks
Create and maintain plans, process documentation, and communicate regular status of progress to team leads
Assist in assessing product quality and release readiness
Requirements:
3+ years of experience developing, administrating, and applying GIS technology
Demonstrable expertise of the ArcGIS platform
Proficient in data processing, querying and visualization techniques
Analytical problem-solving skills with a strong interest in finding and diagnosing software issues
Ability to work with multiple teams and to prioritize requirements
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely, including a proficiency for writing detailed technical documentation
Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, engineering, or related field, depending on position level
Recommended Qualifications:
Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, or Java
