ES Sutton Hiring for DIGITAL PATTERNMAKER at New York, New York Full Time

We need an individual who can help us grow and progress with 3D apparel technology. Women’s sportswear company seeking a digital patternmaker to join our team.  We are looking for a self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as with our teams.  Optitex experience a MUST.  Browzwear experience a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Create 1st Pattern from sketches or inspiration samples

• Create and establish pattern block library of basic styles

• Work with the design and tech teams to create virtual samples in V-Stitcher

• Collaborate with technical designers on production pattern corrections

• Help establish SOPs

Qualifications/Job Skills

• 5+ years of patternmaking experience

• Knowledge of pattern making and garment construction

• Expert Optitex user

• V-Stitcher experience a PLUS

• Excel, Adobe Ilustrator and Photoshop

• Experience in a wide range of product including Missy/Plus tops, dresses, pants and sweaters.

• Self-motivated and self-directed

• Strong organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to details

• Must be highly organized and detail oriented

• Excellent communication and follow through skills

• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be proactive with a solution/result oriented attitude
