This position is hybrid based on needs and project demands.

As a Talent Acquisition / Recruiter, you will be an integral team member, collaborating with the HR Generalist and managers to administer, design, and improve the entire talent acquisition process.

This role will also assist with other HR projects and initiatives, as needed.

Position Overview

This position, in partnership with the HR Generalist, will support the daily functions of the HR team, primarily with talent acquisition.

This role will be responsible for designing and implementing talent acquisition strategies and processes, including building and cultivating talent pipelines for our hiring needs, and will be instrumental in our ability to continue to attract and retain top talent.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and a self-driven, competitive edge, including finding practical and creative ways to source top talent.

This role will also play a pivotal role in supporting larger HR functions by assisting with projects, compliance, and additional HR tasks, as assigned.

Duties / Responsibilities

Recruitment (90%)

• Provides full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, verification of credentials, and making offers. Actively recruits qualified professionals through many different sources, including referrals, passive recruiting, job boards, campus events, sourcing, and networking events.
• Guides hiring managers through an effective selection process, incorporating best-practices for selection, interviewing, assessing capability, and diversity / guarding against bias.
• Builds and maintains talent pipelines specific to the forward market and organizational goals as well as acting as a talent advisor with key stakeholders to identify innovative recruitment strategies.
• Advises on strategies related to the full talent life cycle including, but not limited to, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, change management, and learning and development.
• Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.

HR Administration (10%)

• Cultivates a positive and welcoming work environment through superior customer service for employees and facilitating / participating in various employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinates and conducts new employee orientation.
• Accurately enters new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employee changes into payroll / HRIS systems.
• Provides general day-to-day support for new employees.
• Supports HR projects and initiatives, including development, and administration.
• Generates HRIS data s, as needed.

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to travel between offices and to career fairs, as needed.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in human resources.
• Experience with the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

Applicants must be physically capable and possess the skills necessary to perform all aspects of the position requirements, with reasonable accommodations.

This position is primarily office based, involves long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screens, and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.

Ability to lift 15 pounds.

Benefits and Compensation

ERO offers a very competitive compensation package that includes :

• A salary range of $25.00 to $28.00 per hour dependent on experience / education.
• This is a non-exempt position, and overtime will be compensated accordingly.
• 10 hours / month paid vacation accrual (separate sick leave bank).
• 11 paid holidays that include office closure between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
