About You

Experienced in internal and/or agency recruitment, you bring an eagerness to find quality candidates that will add value to the organisation, being conscious of making the best fit for the role and team. You take initiative, seek out information and use your interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with others. You can work with high recruitment volumes at pace ensuring candidate care is a priority.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in end to end recruitment within a team environment
• Motivated to join the not-for-profit sector and work for an organisation that makes a difference in people’s lives
• Active interest in social media as opportunity to find talent and build networks
• Time management and priority setting

We are looking for someone that will take the initiative to ask questions and can work collaboratively, being comfortable working from home and in the office. You will have a willingness to learn and ability to stay motivated while working autonomously.

It is a requirement of this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, acquire an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Victorian Working with Children’s Check

About the Role

Reporting to the National Manager, People Services, this role will manage a portfolio of community based operational roles across Victoria and the NT. The goal is to deliver end-to-end recruitment processes from developing sourcing strategies to making offers. To achieve this the role entails:

• Providing advice to Hiring Managers on sourcing plan and selection
• Building strong working relationships with Hiring Managers and provide advice on sourcing plan and selection
• Developing targeted assessment approaches for 1:1 interviews and assessment centres
• Maintaining active Talent Pool of potential candidates
• Utilising multiple avenues of sourcing to build candidate attraction streams
• Ensuring all compliance requirements are met in regards to background checking and accuracy of candidate information in our systems
• Identifing improvements in processes and work collaboratively with the team to implement new ideas
