EMEA Regional Talent Acquisition Lead
ERM EMEA is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Regional Talent Acquisition Leader to join our business in EMEA. This is a great opportunity to work for a global environmental leader in an exciting industry.
This role will be preferably be based in London, with WFH under current COVID measurements, but we are also open to this role being based in Manchester, Paris or Milan, reporting directly to the Regional HR Director for EMEA and functional reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition.
The role will be accountable for the overall coordination, management and recruitment delivery of c.1000 new external gross hires each year into the EMEA Region, consisting of 20 locations. This will cover all levels of hiring from university graduates and entry-level consultants through to Account Managers and Partner (leadership) level talent. Works with management to understand current and future workforce needs. Assesses external labour market conditions, develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods. Critical to achieving excellent results, is the ability to build strong relationships and deliver results in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment.
As part of the EMEA Talent Acquisition team, we deliver strategic, tactical and talent acquisition support to the business. Functioning as part of the larger EMEA HR team, we often drive or facilitate cross border projects. Responsibilities
Managing a current team of 10, with room to grow the ream and further develop the team members.
Manage, monitor and appropriately allocate recruitment vacancies across the EMEA Region at all levels of hire
Oversee full cycle recruitment to include university recruiting in support of the business strategy, aligned to the budget and within approval guidelines.
Explore and implement practices that allow the business to attract top talent.
Develop and execute recruiting plans.
Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process for better control and transparency that can support continuous improvement
Drive Talent Acquisition innovation to achieve market leadership in talent attraction
Partner with business leaders to determine hiring needs, anticipate talents needs and fill key roles
Once approved by the Global Head of TA, then manage agency and third party use and budget spend.
Engage in a comprehensive range of candidate sourcing channels/ strategy to include: ERM.com, LinkedIn, employee referrals, head-hunting (search), local advertising with industry journals, publications and trade groups, and engaging with recruitment agencies as appropriate, etc.
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Build networks and helps recruiters to do the same, to find qualified passive candidates.
Develop and track measurable critical facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent, measurable, and set continuous improvement goals.
Ensure data integrity related to recruiting data and diligently manages ERM’s recruitment system – ‘Workday Recruitment’ – from the creation of a vacancy to the completion of a successful hire.
Advertise all vacancies across EMEA to the internal employees as part of the recruiting process to improve internal staff mobility.
Manage and maintain the effective and compliant candidate screening and interview scheduling, providing interview coaching training as required to the EMEA hiring managers.
Provide relevant market compensation data in coordination with the EMEA Director of Compensation to inform the offer process.
Ensure appropriate generation of screening and interviewing schedules is actioned in a timely manner support the overall EMEA ‘time-to-hire’.
Ensure compliance with any local or country data protection requirements, employment law and equal opportunity requirements.
Candidate Requirement
Having a Bachelors Degree, you will be an expert in team leadership experience managing a recruiting operation geographically dispersed of 10 or more professional recruitment staff.
Ideally a mix of both agency, executive search and in-house corporate recruiting experience.
Strong track record of working in a senior TA leadership role in EMEA.
Experienced in the recruitment of technical and/ or scientific related skills ideally in the environmental, civil engineering, oil & energy and/ or management consulting industry sector.
Experienced in recruiting at all levels of hire and able to personally manage candidates at senior levels if required.
Experienced in the usage of social media channels to proactively source for suitable candidates through a targeted strategic approach.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience of working with and managing senior managers on their recruitment requirements.
Strong interviewing skills able to coach and develop internal recruiters and hiring managers to improve assessment and identification of future hires.
Experience and rigorous usage of recruitment system technology; i.e. Workday Recruitment, Taleo, Brassring, Avature; etc.
Able to forge collaborative internal relationships with hiring managers, HR community and senior stakeholders across ERM.
