Job Description
Ergomed is recruiting for a HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist to work 3 or 4 days per week to support HR in France, Germany, Portugal, Italy, and other countries aligned to business growth.
The HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist supports the Head of Human Resources (HR) Operations, HRBPs and other HR colleagues in regard to the operations of the department, including implementation of HR programs in alignment with the organization’s strategy and culture.
The HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist also supports the achievement of the talent strategy, ensuring the HR department drives the attraction, engagement, and retention of the right talent for success.
Duties and Responsibilities:–
Support and advise employees on HR policy, ensuring compliance to the company’s policies for the above countries
Serve as an escalation point for employee relations issues and provide guidance and intervention, as needed
Coach managers on handling disciplinary issues, work-related conflict and performance concerns; assist with the development of performance improvement plans
Partnering with senior operational staff, to establish and roll-out people-related strategy
Leads the development of new Country HR policies in conjunction with other HR colleagues where needed
Supports in regard to establishing a Works Council in relevant countries aligned to applicable legislation
Supports in regard to establishing the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Company, and to utilise this to align with development of respective Policies for relevant countries
Executes all activities related to employee life cycle
Implement & coordinate performance appraisal processes
Facilitates employee engagement and people programs
Deliver International employment solutions when needed
Qualifications
Extensive experience in Human Resources.
Hands-on employee relations experience with exposure to career / performance management and compensation
Knowledge of Employment Law in France including knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements in-country, or the principles of these Agreements
French and / or German language skills would be preferable, although not essential
Additional HR experience in other Western European countries is an advantage.
Excellent oral and written communication skillsets along with strong interpersonal skills
Comfort with conflict management & ability to navigate through complex issues
Track record of working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ideally experience within an international service company
Experience of the Clinical Research industry would be especially welcome
