ERA Co is seeking a Accountant to provide day to day finance & administrative support to the ERA-co Finance Manager & business leaders. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, organized team player that enjoys working with others.

What this role requires //

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Month end accounting

• Drafting client invoices for Project Manager approval, before entering approved invoices in BST & maintaining invoice register
• Amex reconciliation for ERA-co cardholders in Australia
• Post and release depreciation, prepayments, provisions and accrued expenditures
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments, fixed assets, accruals amongst others
• Participate in Month End WIP’s and drive internal revenue requests
• Reconciliation of monthly invoices and revenue to ERA consolidated pipeline

Day to day accounting

• Provide assistance surrounding team members staff reimbursements through Concur as required
• Ownership of maintaining CRM opportunity pipeline, project creation and setup aligned to contracts for ERA business
• Overseeing and driving timesheet compliance within ERA business, including assistance to team members as required

Debtors/Invoices/Cash

• Working with clients to ensure timely debtor collections through emailing and call
• Managing input from ERA-co business leaders & finance manager to prevent collections issues
• Meeting with group credit manager to provide updates on collections and invoices outstanding

Ad hoc analysis & ing

• Assist ERA-co finance manager and business leaders with ad hoc ing and financial analysis as directed

• The ability to be agile in tasks and time management
• Initiative and the ability to follow up outstanding issues
• The ability to work autonomously
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Communication and organisation across multiple time zones worldwide

Work Experience / Technical Skills:

• 2 years of experience in an accounting role is a requirement
• Strong excel skills required to extract and reconcile financial data and modelling
• Experience in a creative industry desirable
• Experience with BST an advantage

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor of Business/Commerce
• Must be working towards (or completed) a certification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountant ACCA
