Position: Healthcare Analyst/SQL Query Writing

Location: Remote/WFH/CST Hours

Duration: 6 Month contract to start, potential for extension and/or conversion to FTE

Rate: $50.00/Hr

Start Date: ASAP

Description:

Runs queries against the database to extract member, claim, and health plan quality data. QA of data is also performed to ensure no errors were made in the query. This data is used by health plans to manage their membership in regards to quality performance. Team of 7 peers, ing to Assoc. Director. Skillsets are ing and analysis based, understanding of SQL syntax required. Ability to manipulate datasets and excel files is a must as well. Team is made up of seasoned analysts and relatively new staff. Overall, a very supportive culture and easy group to get along with.

Responsibilities:

Fulfill ing requests that involve data pulls and slight data manipulation of member level HEDIS data to support health plans. Team members will typically spend the majority of their time working in the data and providing s to the requestors. Ability to communicate effectively is key, this includes both with requestors and with team members. Ability to do quality checks of data and do some root cause analysis to determine where errors may have occurred in data extraction.

Ideal Background:

Position background 2-4 years experience with SQL query writing. 2-4 years experience with Healthcare related data, 2-4 years experience with general healthcare data. Ability to communicate effectively. Healthcare data background, specifically related to Stars and/or HEDIS. Stars/HEDIS background not required if candidate has background in claims data or provider data.

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm CST

Education: High School Diploma OR GED
