Position: Healthcare Regulatory and Compliance Coordinator

Location: Remote/WFH/Ontario, CA (PST Hours)

Duration: 3 Month contract to start, potential for extension and/or conversion to FTE

Rate: $27.00/Hr

Start Date: ASAP

Important: Work will be Remote, but seeking candidates within driving distance of Ontario, CA.

Description:

• Ensure our manual Health Plan Letters are compliant and posted to our Teams Channel
• Monitor Health Plan Letter Template updates, review and submit Letter Change Requests as applicable.
• Perform letter QA for letters that have been updated based on the Letter Change Request
• Update the Letters Tracker as applicable.
• Identify and communicate compliance status and issues to applicable audiences (e.g., business leaders, product owners, business operations, board members)
• Communicate the potential impact of compliance issues and risks on our business, operations and consumers to applicable stakeholders, including both segment-specific and enterprise-wide implications

Additional Duties

• Responsible for development and delivery of special Health Plan requests for auditing purposes that are in addition to the standard ing requirements.
• Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve any errors or discrepancies identified when reviewing distributed s.
• Prepares member notification mailings for specialist terminations using mass mailing processes.
• Supports the Delegation Oversight Department through the management and interpretation of data, project management, process improvement activities and group facilitation.
• Assists management team with file/audit log preparation for health plan audits.
• Maintains tracking logs and creating Service Now tickets for health plan ing new templates.
• Assists in maintaining letter templates and communication changes with LCR/LMS team members.
• Uses, protects, and discloses our patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
• Develop and maintain specific ing departmental job aides for team member cross training related to the department responsibilities.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Software Skills: Microsoft office (Word Excel, One Note and Teams)

Hours: 8am-5pm, Mon thru Friday

Min Education:

High School Diploma OR GED
