We are looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition(APAC) to lead and drive the talent acquisition strategy for our APAC Customer and Revenue Office(CRO). The role is part of the APAC Talent Acquisition (TA) leadership team and the global CRO TA organisation. The role will be leading team members across the region who play a meaningful role in nurturing and selecting exceptional talent to drive the growth of our business. The successful individual will be an experienced people manager, and will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders and human resource partners in region and possibly globally. The role will find opportunities to innovate and deliver strategic priorities, including Diversity & Inclusion and supporting our strategic workforce plans.
Responsibilities:
Partner closely with Global TA, HR, Finance and business leaders on the development and execution of the TA strategy for hiring across region/globe.
Leading the TA team responsible for recruitment across the assigned business.
Developing solutions and strategies to deliver talent acquisitions priorities for the business
Leading key initiatives across the region or globally.
Instrumental in developing our TA operational excellence and analytics capability to enable the team to influence the business to make data driven hiring decisions
Partnering with Talent Branding to create robust talent branding strategy for the assigned business.
Build talent channels and programs across the functions/region to build exceptional talent pipelines
Working with strategic partners to drive representation and pathway hiring programs
Constantly reviewing assessment/selection process effectiveness and working with the leaders across the business to train hiring managers and interviewing teams
Acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders across the business in the region and globally
Management and development of TA team for the assigned business group
Partnering with TA leaders to develop TA strategy the for the business group as a whole, whist providing support and guidance to wider team on individual functional strategies
Partnering with senior HR leaders and wider HR team
Requirements:
The role will have close interaction with global human resources counterparts and business leaders, and therefore global exposure is desirable.
Leadership experience, preferably managing a team/function across several countries in APAC
Experience in Sales hiring would be a plus
Prior experience in maturing a TA function and developing hiring strategies across a region
Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and extensive experience partnering with senior executives within an organization
Conscientious, forward thinking, and collaborative – at Equinix we are not afraid to experiment quickly and think creatively to overcome market challenges, and keep us ahead of the curve
Strong partnership with senior leaders in the business, with the ability to align a robust TA strategy with the direction of the organization, and adjust where needed with the changing demands of the business.
