EQUANS are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team on the University of Cambridge contract on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
What will you deliver?
Work to the RoE model; liaise with UoC HR team, Unions and employees.
Coordination of the annual HR cycle, including annual salary reviews, bonus confirmation and performance management.
Working in a heavily unionised environment
Ensuring attendance management is monitored in detail, agreeing plans to improve with line managers and supporting delivery
Advice on early-stage grievance / disciplinary action including attendance at hearings as appropriate only
Monitoring of the annual performance cycle, acting as a super-user and ensuring completion in a timely manner
Support with the month end reporting process ensuring that data is collated, accurate and provided on time
Disseminating of communications, spreadsheet, policies & processes, and updates on progress against people objectives
Providing general HR assistance and acting as the link between the UoC HR team and employees
Supporting line managers in all people processes to ensure best practice and employee engagement is enhanced
Continually review personal performance ensuring it meets the needs of users.
Recruitment support once approved, liaising with line managers and the resourcing team to optimise opportunities.

Who are we looking for?
CIPD qualified & preferably member
Experience working in a HRBP capacity
Track record in HR and change management
Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice
Commercial acumen and credibility
Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
Numerate with strong verbal reasoning skills
Ability to work to tight deadline and with conflicting priorities
Practical approach to problem solving
This role includes a DBS Enhanced check therefore ability to pass is essential.
