EQUANS are recruiting for a HR Administrator to be based in Hatfield (hybrid working and agile hours available). This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a salary between £23,000 – £25,000 depending on skills and experience and benefits package.
Our ideal candidate will have proven HR Administration experience within a fast paced, busy environment. You will have excellent time management skills, the ability to be organised and plan your diary to meet our work volumes and deadlines.
In return we offer the opportunity to join a large organisation, working alongside experienced HR Advisors and Managers to support you in your development within your current role. Once you are settled in your role we are also open to an office and home working split.
Having a CIPD is desirable, however we are also open to supporting you through this, upon successful completion of probation.
What will you deliver?
Your role will cover all aspects of administration including, but not limited to, the below:
Processing starters and leavers
Dealing with employee change forms
Payroll admin
Manage an inbox and communication from existing staff members
Organising and running induction days
Running and presenting reports and data
Managing internal recruitment processes
Arrange and support meetings and conferences
Oversee absence process
Maintain confidentiality of private and confidential information
Working within the HR team
Liaising with Senior Leadership Teams

Who are we looking for?
Proven work experience as a HR Administrator is essential
HR administration in a construction environment is preferred
Working in a high volume, fast paced busy environment
Ability to confidently communicate with all levels of staff including Directors and Senior Leadership
Excellent organisation and time management skills in order to meet deadlines
Effectively managing enquiries via e-mail, telephone, and face to face
Computer Literate in MS Office
