EQ Systems Hiring for Engineer at Cassopolis, MI Full Time

Equalizer Systems, a division of EQ United, has over
100 years of serving the community and is continuing to grow!

To help us move forward and continue to provide our customers the high level
of service they have come to expect we are adding an Engineer to our team.

Responsibilities-

• Developing design by gathering information and data through research
• Using creative thinking and judgement to develop new ideas and concepts
• Ability to understand business needs and customer requirements
• Work with Purchasing and Admin teams to acquire all necessary materialsfor new products
• Help Sales to meet customer requirements and assist in pricing large systems

Requirements-

• 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with staff at all levels and in a team environment
• Solid work history
• Able to set up and solve engineering problems mathematically. This includes:

– Drawing Free Body Diagrams
-Calculating Stress and Strain
-Understanding failure theories and how to use them

• Basic understanding of pumps and fluid flow
• Ability to plan an experiment, run the experiment, and write engineering s on the results

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
