Role title: Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner
Salary: $80,000 – $85,000

About the company – Epos Now is a market leading Fin-Tech company specialising in POS technology. With a growing international presence, we are looking to expand on our successful finance team to support the business moving toward our 2022 IPO.

About the role As a Management Accountant you will be an integral and influential, key member of the business. You will be a natural problem solver, take ownership of processes and will have or mostly completed a recognised accounting qualification or an equivalent, if from overseas.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ownership of the Regional numbers for APAC, including all postings to the accounting system and all APAC specific reporting.
• Own the month end process for the business region.
• Responsibility for delivering an accurate full P&L and balance sheet in a timely manner.
• Production of regional P&L first draft, ensuring detailed understanding of month on month and year on year trends, significant items, one of transactions etc, including first review and commentary.
• Preparation of month end journals for cost accruals and prepayments, and revenue and cost of sales adjustments, to ensure reported performance is consistent with business performance.
• Ensure significant partnership contracts are understood and accounted for correctly, with income and costs booked in the appropriate periods.
• Line management of the APAC Regional analyst/assistant
• Day to day finance contact for the Regional Operations and Sales teams
• Ensure costs related to the region are captured and owned, liaising with other regional accountants to ensure appropriate allocations of contested or shared costs.
• Contribute submissions for the region into the Group wide FP&A processes, ensuring consistency with run rate trading and regional business plans.
• Assist the central Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with customer and supplier queries specific to the region.
