AR/AP Accounting Specialist – Job Description

Scope: The AR/AP Accounting Specialist is a highly visible position with direct report to the Accounting Manager. The AR/AP Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in the day to day accounting tasks developed to assist in the growth, development, refinement, and smooth accounting functions within the business. The accounting team must be able to work in collaboration with and empower other staff members. Company is running on Netsuite software and currently doing 24 Million per year with plans in motion to scale the business with the addition of a new Dallas Facility.

Responsibilities:

DAILY DUTIES

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE:

· AR invoicing/billing:

o Invoicing of all sales transactions

o Processing of credits and returns

o Maintain copy of work orders not shipped

· Truck Route Delivery Authorization

Note: Above tasks to be completed by 10:30 am

· Assist with Orders on Hold

· Archives of daily sales invoicing documents

· Assist with collections

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:

· Daily mail processing

· Daily matching of purchase orders, packing slips and receiving documents against invoices

· Daily invoice vouchering and posting to NetSuite

· Records credit invoices

· New vendor set up, maintenance and maintains & update W9 binder

· Assists with weekly check runs

· Reconcile vendor statements

Experience/Skills Requirement:

o Minimum 3-5 years direct experience with AR and AP

o Can multi-task and have great organizational skill

o Responsive and team-oriented

o Experience with NetSuite software a plus

o Can work in a culturally diverse and energetic work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.50 per hour
