Position Purpose:
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for executing effective talent acquisition strategies and objectives and serves as a resource to both hiring managers, staff, and candidates to achieve optimal staffing goals and cultural alignment. This position works as an integral member of the Human Resource team to ensure outstanding customer service is delivered at all ERS locations.

Supports high quality and timely hiring goals through a multi-channel recruiting approach that includes employee referral, social media, networking resources, job fairs, colleges and universities, diversity events and industry specific avenues.

Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external customers to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Meets weekly with hiring managers to discuss open positions and advises them of labor market conditions with a high level of timeliness and accuracy.

Manages requisition process; reviews a high-volume candidate pipeline effectively using our applicant tracking system (ATS); uses business writing and marketing strategy to create job postings; closes out requisitions

Builds a positive candidate experience; follows up with candidates; oversees communication with unsuccessful candidates

Creates offer letter based on specific job and location. Evaluates candidate experience to determine hourly rate when applicable.

Critically reviews resumes, conducts introduction/cultural interviews, forwards qualified candidates hiring managers, as needed interviews candidates (by phone or in person) with hiring managers, coordinates and interprets pre-employment assessments and advises on hiring decisions. Oversees internal candidate mini application process.

Promotes ERS’s employment brand, promotes ERS as a top work place in the community, promotes careers in aging services

Coordinates, cultivates, and markets the EARN MORE employee referral program.

Assists with onboarding activities with new employees; communicates benefits information as needed

Creates open position and vacancy report, and communicates career opportunities to employees.

Partners with Director of TA to create and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies

Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to ensure strategies are created and met which will enable ERS to attract diverse, quality candidates.

Leverages use of technology to support regional staffing and onboarding needs; promotes the use of social media and the employee portal

Works in partnership with the Director of TA and the ERS Marketing department to create advertisements

Responsible for analyzing HR TA Metrics; application of hiring themes, and making recommendations based on data

Reviews content of job description with hiring managers for accuracy, clarity and unconscienced bias of position requirements, and qualifications.

Maintains privacy and confidentiality in all human resource and business matters

Assists with employee relations, including, but not limited to, provides requested forms, answers inquiries from staff as needed, actively listens to employees’ concerns, assists with workers’ compensation, benefits and compliance issues, and assists with staff engagement/recognition programs.

Actively seeks to build relationships with ERS staff and residents and provides superior customer service.
