EPI Technologies, Inc Hiring for Technical Account Sales Manager Full Time

Established Midwestern Manufacturers’ Representative Firm Based Near Chicago is Looking for An Experienced Technical Sales Account Manager Who Wants to Pursue a Possible Partnership

The ideal candidate will have exceptional sales skills and engineering experience in OEM, Public Safety, Telecom, Military, Utility and Government markets. In addition, the applicant will have sales management experience and a burning desire to obtain a partial ownership position working with the current owner of the firm.

Qualifications:

• Outside sales engineering and management experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years proven B2B technical sales experience in the markets listed above.
• Sales experience for a Manufacturer, Distributor or Manufacturers’ Representative.
• Must have a strong technical background and the ability to quickly learn new products and technologies in a fast paced environment.
• A proven track record of building strong business relationships.
• Demonstrated success in finding new business and retaining existing business while selling synergistic multiple product lines.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• Experience in cloud-based CRM software, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and grow existing business while working on new business development.
• Effectively investigate existing and potential customer needs. Maintain and convey broad technical knowledge of principal’s products.
• Identify, nurture and manage relationships with all stakeholders in the sales process including engineering, purchasing, supply chain and management.

Further Consideration:

• Regular overnight travel within the Midwest.
• Some evening appointments.
• Must be able to home office.
