About the Role

• Newly created full-time, permanent role
• Field-based Medical Science Liaison position
• New product launch in the Cardio-metabolic space
• Clinically focused role working with and developing KOLs
• Provide a reliable, trusted source of unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge.
• Working closely with cross functional team – sales, marketing & medical
• Requires strong scientific knowledge and commercial understanding
• Drive projects from concept to execution
• Conduct medical review of promotional materials
• Act as an internal expert to support staff training

The Successful Applicant

• Successful completion of relevant science based tertiary qualifications- post grad ie. Masters (minimum) or PhD required
• Relevant industry (medical/scientific/HSR) experience in the Cardiometabolic area essential.
• New product launch experience highly regarded
• Learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content
• Self-directed and able to work alone in the field, effectively managing multiple priorities and projects.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage in professional relationship building and networking.
• Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification.
• Strong communication skills
