The Opportunity

This role is a critical customer support role and assists the sales team in customer account set up, order processing and submission, and any inquiries relating to customer accounts with distributor. There is customer facing interactions which provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests in relation to customer orders and accounts.

This is a fixed term contract until end June 2024 with potential for the role to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the sales team in dealing with all customer inquiries, account set up and dealing with any issues
• Processing new customer accounts and applications in SAP
• Deals directly with customers, either by telephone or electronically, and responds promptly to their enquiries
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying customer’s issue
• Processes all orders in SAP, forms, and applications in liaison with DHL and ensures timely delivery of goods and reconciling DHL inventory variances and update supply chain forecast
• Reconciles daily sales and generates s accordingly
• Undertakes supply chain management –monitoring stock levels and regional ordering of stock. Reconciling inventory, ensuring that
• inventory balances in SAP to reconcile with DHL s
• Maintains customer and material database in SAP, including pricing and special discountsas required

The Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
• Proven customer support experience
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer service orientation and ability to adapt /respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
• Highly skilled in performing tasks associated with shipping and receiving products
• Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Ensures excellent services standards and maintains high customer satisfaction
