Introduction
E&P consulting is a rapidly growing owner-managed private consultancy company, specialising in the provision of technical consultants, managed services, and programmes to the global energy industry. Formed in 2011, the company has grown significantly across the UK and US. We have an aggressive development strategy, with projected annual growth exceeding 50% and new country entries to support new client business.
To support this growth, we are looking for a new team member to handle accounts responsibilities as described below. E&P Consulting is an agile company with a flat management structure, unconstrained by bureaucratic processes, and the successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a flexible and non-corporate environment.
The company operates virtually, with the core internal team spread across the UK, US, India, and Europe and therefore in-person interaction is limited. Quarterly face-to-face meetings are required, so flexibility on travel within the UK (including overnight stays) is required. The successful candidate would need to spend an initial 2 to 3 days face-to-face with the reporting director in London, to allow onboarding and induction activities.
The successful candidate will be working with our clients and consultants, and therefore should demonstrate a positive and outgoing attitude, with excellent inter-personal skills that will enhance and protect our strong relationships.
Main purposes of the role
Acting as the single point of responsibility for the execution of finance processes within the E&P Consulting companies.
Maintain and improve processes to track expenditure and provide accurate management information.

Short-listed candidates will be required to complete on-line automated tests of the skills outlined above, so access to a computer and internet connection will be required.
Successful completion of the tests will be followed by two interviews with the company management team, either by video or face-to-face depending on the candidate’s location.

The role is predominantly home-based, and all IT equipment will be provided to facilitate this.
Expenses will be refunded for occasional travel to company meetings within the UK
