Currently, we have an excellent opportunity to add a Full-Time Digital Marketing Strategist to our team. We’re looking for someone with curiosity, intellect, and energy, ready to expand their already impressive knowledge of digital marketing and immerse themselves in the world of SEO, Google Ads, and Social Media. We are looking for someone who is both “right-brained” (creative) and “left-brained” (analytical), able to develop and define actionable digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will also have a strong grasp of technical SEO and experience executing effective SEO strategies for local healthcare businesses.

At EOS, we use a data-driven approach to define strategy, identify audiences, develop creative, and execute omnichannel communications across digital, direct mail, and traditional media to help our healthcare clients build their businesses.

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics and aptitude:

• An expert-level understanding of SEO, specifically as it pertains to lead acquisition in local markets. This role will be the primary SEO strategist for EOS.
• A moderate understanding of Google Ads and Social Media. As a strategist, this person will need to understand how a multi-channel digital approach will support our clients, and work with our Google Ads Specialist and Social Media Specialist to implement the Digital Marketing Strategies.
• Superior communication skills. This is a customer-facing role, and the person must be comfortable working directly with clients through email and virtual meetings.
• Well-developed written skills. This role will have a heavy focus on editing and writing content for SEO.
• Analytical thinker. You should embrace taking on a data-driven approach to analyze and determine solutions.
• Strategic problem-solver. You should be able to balance data-driven decisions while taking into account subjective considerations.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Agency Experience: This person is not a lone wolf. They need experience working as part of a multi-channel digital marketing team. They thrive as part of a larger group and value shared ideas and collaboration as a way to make the strategy and team thrive.
• SEO: Onsite, offsite, local, organic, national, etc. The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the SEO strategist, collaborating with our Google Ads and Social Media specialists to create multi-channel marketing strategies.
• Technical SEO: This person will have an advanced understanding of content management systems (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace), their purposes, and how they work. They will also understand more traditional technical SEO concepts (crawling, indexing, rendering, AMP, site migrations, page speed optimization, core web vitals, and more).
• Web Development: We have a dedicated WordPress developer, but having intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they impact search performance and web development would be a way to stand out.
• Project management: This person has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, with a reputation for meeting deadlines and rarely dropping the ball.
• Developing Cross-Channel Digital Strategies: This person has helped identify client objectives and translate them into goals, successfully creating measurable actionable strategies to help the client achieve those goals.
• Google Analytics, tracking, and ing: This person has an advanced understanding and experienced user of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Tag Manager, with a history of communicating technical information to non-technical clients in a way they understand and appreciate.
• Industry Tools: Strong knowledge and experience using search tools and platforms (SEMRush, SpyFu, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).

Duties include:

• Translate client objectives into effective organic search marketing strategies.
• Define measurable acquisition-based keyword and content strategies.
• Conduct and deliver comprehensive site auditing and proactively identify on-page and technical SEO opportunities.
• Document recommended solutions, working with content and development teams to advise on implementation.
• Monitor and analyze site performance using a range of SEO and site analytics tools, providing s to clients.
• Interpret and explain data discoveries as they relate to organic search, specific SEO initiatives, and client KPIs.
• Consulting, analysis, strategy building, and effective communication around all aspects of SEO, including competitive research, technical SEO, usability, E-A-T, core web vitals, site structure optimization, link acquisition strategies, measurement and performance, and content strategy.
• Act as the primary client contact, providing education for clients around SEO strategies, tactics, deliverables, and performance, and persuasively making business cases for smart SEO strategies.
• Stay up to date on current SEO industry trends and technologies, apply them to SEO strategies, and communicate these trends to clients and the EOS Digital team.

Compensation:

This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position. Benefits start upon conversion to full-time. Salary: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience)
