Enza Zaden Hiring for HR Generalist Job at Australia Full Time

From recruitment, onboarding, learning & development to employee relations and (global) policy implementations, the HR Generalist is responsible for all people matters. You are the single point of contact for HR in the region. You implement various topics from the operational HR cycle by supporting, advising and coaching management and directors in order to realize optimal staffing. As an HR Generalist, you are both responsible for day-to-day operations and you ask the right questions and translate these into HR-specific actions in terms of learning & development, compensation & benefits and recruitment. You ensure the compliance with all requirements for employment law, employment conditions and regulations. You analyze any bottlenecks and provide possible solutions to facilitate change processes. In short, you are an all-round HR professional who can handle tactical challenges but also resolve operational issues. In addition, you have the (continued) development of one or more HR themes in your portfolio and you work cross-departmentally, including close cooperation with the global HR team.

The number of employees is 65 (50 in Australia, 15 in New Zealand), working in either Research & Development or Marketing & Sales teams. Because of your experiences and stakeholder management, the managers, but also the employees know how to find you in no time. You are in charge of the internal communication and organization of all internal events to develop individuals and teams and contribute to our employer brand. Therefore, you also have external contacts with all HR stakeholders such as medical services, employee insurances, labor agreement association, temporary employment agencies and other relevant agencies.
The role is based either in Narromine (NSW, Australia), Melbourne (VIC, Australia) or Pukekohe (New Zealand). A highly attractive remuneration package will be negotiated to attract the right person for this crucial role.

In short, you:

• Have a completed higher vocational education preferably in HRM, possibly with relevant further education
• Have at least 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a dynamic, commercial and result-oriented environment
• Have experience with local labor law
• Are able and willing to travel regularly to the stations/locations in the region (Australia: Narromine, Melbourne; New Zealand: Pukekohe)
