We are seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) for a lead role in developing full functioning website and mobile app for a new startup project. We are a New York based wholesale, import and sourcing company working with large nationwide retailers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop website and mobile app with full functionality for a new startup subsidiary company – MADEYN
• Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs
• Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor and build software development team in New York.

• Analyze workflows of different functionality needed for the website and develop those with the look and style needed
• Manage and write new code for back-end functions for Madeyn application using technologies like Python/Django, GraphQL, PostgreSQL database

Requirements:

• 4-year College degree and 2-year master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience on backend technologies like Python/Django, GraphQL, PostgreSQL database or similar database technologies
• Must have experience working with AWS services like S3, EC2, Cognito, CloudFront, Elastic load balancing etc.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based programming environment (AWS, etc.)
• Stays current with many best-of-breed technologies
• Shows a commitment to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development
• Self-driven and excel at identifying opportunities for improvements and stay on schedule and deliver
