Controller:

We plan to increase our client base and need a knowledgeable and self-motivated Controller to manage and supervise all aspects of the accounting department. This position will report directly to the company’s CFO.

This is a full-time salaried position, with our fast-growing company. We have cultivated a professional, but friendly atmosphere where respect and communication are highly valued.

Qualities to Succeed:

• MUST HAVE CPA LICENSE
• U.S. GAAP Proficiency
• Expert in Excel
• Edgar or edgarization knowledge
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge of accounting practices
• Leadership skills
• Organization and project management skills
• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of tax codes and laws
• Proficient in Quickbooks
• At least 3-5 years minimum experience, and with at least 60% of that experience working for a public company

Job Scope:

• Maintain balances and determine expenditure on a daily basis for the checking/savings accounts
• Manage quarterly and annual audits and reviews
• Plan, manage and supervise all accounting operations
• Responsible for financial statements and budgeting
• Financial preparation/reporting utilizing detailed excel files with pivot tables
• Create profit analysis for customers and SKU’s
• Assist with month end
• SEC filings (i.e. 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Form 4 etc.)
• Handle financial forecasting
• Manage cash flow
• Create production schedules
• Handle procurement
• Oversee inventory
• Maintain credit cards
• Ad hoc analysis as required
• Payroll and payable oversight processing
• Stock based compensation accounting
• Monthly closing of multiple books and corresponding consolidation of them
