Environmental Consultants (ECI) Hiring for Remote Sales Support Specialist at Denver, CO Full Time

We are currently seeking a Remote Sales Support Specialist to join the ECI team. This role will be responsible for administrative duties and assisting the business development department in gaining and keeping customers. The sales support specialist’s responsibilities include tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes within proposals, providing customer service, and managing customer accounts and opportunities within Salesforce. The sales support specialist is also responsible for monitoring sales and the performance of the business development team as well as recording sales data.

To be a successful sales support specialist, you should have good time management and organizational skills. You should also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

This position is a remote/work from home role with estimated travel of 5-10% for the occasional company meeting.

Pay Range for this position is $65-75K/year depending on education, skills, experience and certifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings and sales appointments, and following up with customers with any project related updates.
• Compile a weekly list of sales leads by monitoring platforms such as PowerSafe and Ariba.
• Work with the BD director to delegate leads to the business development department.
• Perform data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintain an organized and accessible filing system (Salesforce).
• Develop and monitor performance indicators for business development team, manage sales tracking tool (Salesforce), and compile s as needed (Salesforce).
• Create and maintain a database for historical bid tracking for competitive intelligence (Salesforce).
• Review proposals and contract language to mitigate risk and liability.
• Draft and review contracts, prepare legal documents, conduct research, and have an understanding of business law.
• Scheduling customer meetings and conferences.
• Maintain customer contact methods as directed for: leads, contact, opportunities and project management using company provided resources (such as Salesforce).
• Provide ECI upper management with creative solutions for service growth ideas/opportunities.
• Plan, organize, schedule and manage personal travel schedule and the travel schedule of the BD team as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor s or associate degree in marketing, business, paralegal studies, or a related field such as Forestry may be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, executives, and field employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Salesforce
• Experience in high-volume office work.
• Proactive mentality with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Creativity, strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• High energy with the ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus.
• Independent decision making.
• An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Experience and confident with writing and reviewing legal documents such as, contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.
• Prior paralegal experience, include drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing legal documents, conducting research and an understanding of business law.
• Successful experience in sales, marketing, paralegal work, business development, or customer relations a plus.
• Bi-lingual speaking (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Working Environment

This job operates in an office, field or remote depending on client needs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
