Due to significant growth and change within the NSW Environment Protect Authority (EPA) we have several exciting opportunities available for Administration Officers. We have positions across our Finance division and Governance Risk & Planning division.
About You
We are looking for experienced Administration Officers to support the development and delivery of key strategic projects. You will liaise with internal, cross agency and inter-jurisdictional committees to organise meeting logistics, finalising agendas and papers.
Developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships will be critical to this role. You will need to be confident delivering multiple projects, balancing conflicting priorities and negotiating workable timeframes with staff across the EPA seeking administrative support from this role.
As mentioned above, we have opportunities within the Finance team and the Governance & Risk team.
Finance
For these positions, we are seeing candidates who have finance or accounting training/ qualifications, or somebody who has experience supporting a finance team. You will be assisting with monthly reconciliations and preparation of journals, maintenance of cost centre owners and providing advice on the procurement process. As this role is in the Business Advisory & Partnering team, an enthusiastic, customer service attitude is important. We are committed to supporting development and career growth within the finance space, so being passionate about this field is critical for the role.
Governance Risk & Planning
These roles will see you support the Ministerial and Correspondence team who are responsible for coordinating and delivering accurate and timely responses and advice related to all parliamentary and ministerial requests. You will be providing administrative support for high-profile issues and projects, as well as assisting with continuous improvement and change initiatives. These are exciting opportunities for dynamic and high calibre candidates, who have fantastic interpersonal skills and who pride themselves in their attention to detail.
