As a Senior Finance Officer – First Nations Identified, in the Asset Management team your role will be to:

• Develop and manage internal and external budgets for capital assets
• Provide accounting advice.
• Assist in the development of strategic assets plans
• Co-ordinate asset reporting, revaluations, stocktakes, acquisitions and disposals and other related activities
• Provide expert advice and training to internal staff and management on asset management practices
• Analyse and interpret financial reports.
• Work in collaboration with business groups, provide authoritative advice in relation asset administration to senior management and staff.
• Develop innovative systems and processes to enhance efficiency while still meeting regulatory requirements.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.

There are no mandatory qualifications required to undertake this position, however formal qualifications in Accounting or Finance would be highly regarded.
