Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Development of microcontroller hardware and firmware for Reverse Vending Machines

• Testing and validation of hardware and firmware

• Development of new functions and support of existing microcontroller electronics and firmware

• Assist with building, leading and developing a team of engineers

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelors degree in electronic/electrical engineering or computer engineering a MUST

• Knowledge of automation technology a MUST
• Demonstrated experience leading a team

• A minimum 7-10 years’ experience with designing microcontroller boards and programming firmware for embedded systems, based on 8-bit microcontroller in C/C++.

• Knowledge of Atmel Studio, Atmel MEGA and XMEGA preferred

• Experience with testing hardware of embedded systems

• Experience with serial interfaces, such as UART, I2C, RS485

• Experienced working independently or in a team environment

• Strong communication skills, comfortable communicating with all levels of management, external customers and vendors

• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

• MUST be able to read/write English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
