Due to continuous growth, we have a new opportunity for the HR Assistant to join our HR Team.

HR Assistant – The Role:
To manage HR data and complete HR tasks in confidential and timely manner, to provide support to HR Team on various generalist HR activities and projects. Ensure consistent and best practice support is provided to Enva internal teams.

HR Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
Managing the new starters process ensuring all paperwork, files and on boarding is completed to a high standard and to specific deadlines, including pre-employment checks, preparing and issue offers and contracts of employment, setting up of personnel files and IT records, issuing internal communications of new starter announcements to the wider business, etc.

Benefits administration including enrolling staff into the benefits scheme and responding to benefits-related queries.

Managing leavers process, including final pay calculations, preparing and issuing letters and administering exit interviews.

Employee lifecycle monitoring (e.g. fixed term contracts, probationary periods, temporary contractual changes, secondments), escalating any issues to the HR Manager.

Providing first level support and advise to management and staff relating to HR policies, processes and procedures.

Supporting various meetings (disciplinaries, grievances, welfare, etc) with minutes taking.

Assist with review and development of HR processes and procedures, conducting regular review of HR templates to ensure they are fit for purpose.

Assisting with Recruitment and Selection process, preparing and placing advertisements, preparing/updating job descriptions, etc.

Supporting the HR Manager and HR Officer on projects, generalist tasks, paperwork, and administration duties as and when required.

Management and administration of HR System.

Produce monthly KPIs report.

Knowledge, Training, Experience, Technical and Personal Skills:

Required:
Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment.

Basic knowledge of the employment legislation.

Ability to keep strict confidentiality at all times.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong telephone manner.

Excellent numerical skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to handle large amounts of information.

Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Positive and motivated with flexible and adaptable attitude.

Problem solving and solution focussed ability.

Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.

Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all interactions – should be transparent, open and honest in all dealings.

Strong PC and technical knowledge and skills with an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Teams.

CIPD level 3.
