Patient Account Representative Job Summary:

Responsible for collecting pre-payments for all surgeries, answering billing line phone calls, and calling on outstanding balances.

Patient Account Representative Essential Job Functions:

Collection of prepayment amounts. Sending letters and/or reminder calls to patients until balances are paid. Communication with CCC and supervisor if balance cannot be collected.
Collection of outstanding balances & working workque.
Answer billing phones, answer questions and take payments over the phone. Place patients on payment plans if applicable.
Other billing duties as assigned
