Ensemble Health Partners Hiring for Health Information Specialist at Naples, FL Full Time

This is an onsite position that rotates between the downtown and north

Naples hospitals. It is a rotating schedule because we have to cover

weekends (colleague rotates every other weekend). Duties include

collecting paper medical records from units and bringing them back to the

scanning office to prep, scan and index.

Must be able to work independently. Hours are flexible, but like to stay roughly around 8am – 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

scanning office to prep, scan and index.

Document Imaging performs all Scanning Department duties relating to various departments

Processing incoming mail and preparing documents for scanning, scanning documents to proper location in accordance to the Record Retention Policy, any tasks resulting from these basic functions which are necessary to complete the document process, and communicating with coworkers and supervisor to maintain proper processing methods and remain aware of proper procedures.

Requirements:

Must be able to work independently

1-3 years previous experience in health information management (HIM)

Associates degree or equivalent experience

Organization skills, MS Office proficient, communication skills, proficient in HER
