JOB DESCRIPTION
Enscicon is conducting a search for a Mechanical Designer on behalf of a client in Fort Collins, Colorado. This position will be involved in the development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products and support apparatus.

This position s to the Energy Solutions Division Chief Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform mechanical/electrical conceptual physical design collaboratively with responsible supervisors and engineers.
• Complete design and layouts in accordance with industry practices using 2D & 3D design software.
• Mock-up and prototype component / assembly designs.
• Check and verify design.
• Interface with customers relating to product interface drawings.
• Collaborate with worldwide development teams.
• Travel to company sites as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering/design.
• Expert in 3D CAD (Autodesk, Solidworks, etc.)
• Extensive experience in industrial product design/development.
• Competency in standard business tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Candidate must be qualified to work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION

• Base salary + bonus.
• Target Compensation: $35.00 – $50.00/per hour
• The position is eligible to company Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program.
