Enid Public Schools Hiring for Elementary Curriculum Coordinator at Enid, OK Full Time

Reports To: Curriculum Director

Calendar: 12-month employee

Job Overview: The person in this position is responsible for leading and facilitating curriculum and assessment work for kindergarten through fifth grade. This includes assisting with progression guides, standards implementation, assessment development, and data analysis. Additionally, this position will oversee state testing responsibilities for elementary grades including the OSTP, dyslexia screening, and other assessments as needed.

Essential Duties / Performance Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and updates of progression guides and other district curriculum documents for core subject areas in kindergarten through fifth grades.

Work collaboratively with the Early Childhood director to ensure vertical alignment from Pre-K to Kinder.

Participate in curriculum adoption according to the state adoption cycle, as appropriate

Facilitate and support teachers in the implementation of Mastery Connect

Oversee state testing duties including, but not limited to

Attending state level meetings for district test coordinators

Training district personnel in the regulations and administration of state tests for 3rd – 5th grades

Maintain thorough documentation of all state testing requirements

Assist teachers with data analysis and discussion using all available data sources

Train EPS faculty and staff in best practices of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

Assist in the implementation of dyslexia assessment requirements, including but not limited to

Understanding all assessment requirements for dyslexia law included in the Dyslexia Handbook

Training teachers in the Dyslexia Checklist

Training teachers in the administration of the Informal Classroom Diagnostic assessment
