Engineering Resource Group Hiring for Materials Engineer Full Time
Description
- Permanent position for a Materials Engineer to develop rubber, plastic and silicone materials for aerospace components and systems..
- Identify, select and recommend materials based on weight, strength, thermal tolerances, cost and durability.
- Responsible for materials characterization and testing.
- Gather data on material failures.
- Collaborate with process engineer during product development and fabrication.
Requirements
- BS Materials Science, Polymer Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with rubbers, plastics and silicone.
- Experience with materials development, testing and characterization.
- Experience with characterization by using OM, SEM, BET, XRD, TGA, DSC, DMA, etc.
